Target group

Domov Slunečnice Ostrava offers residential and social services to three target groups of clients.

• Old People´s Home, intended for people of retirement age with reduced self-sufficiency, and with long-term adverse health condition which are dependent on assistance or supervision of another person in self care.
• Homes with the Special Regime, intended for people of retirement age with reduced self-sufficiency, with advanced amnesia and deteriorative orientation skills, physical unrest and who require constant assistance of another person.
• Daily Services Centre,
  • adults older than 27 years,
  • people with reduced self-sufficiency or disabilities,
  • people who can´t be home alone during their caring family is at work,
  • lone person who prefers to be in a group of peers.

Our primary mission is:

• The most important for our work are the clients´ needs.
• Keep and develop clients´ self-sufficiency and ensure dignified aging.
• Our principle is: "As self-sufficient as possible, as much care as necessary".
• Always respect the individuality of the client.
